The American favorite and most requested Miniature Jersey cows are great for both work and play. They have the absolute best temperment of all the miniature cattle breeds and will produce enough milk for a small family milk cow. They are beautiful to look at and great around children. They have great udders that last year after year and always breed back with ease. Even most of the miniature Jersey bulls are friendly and not dangerous like standard size Jersey bulls. Here at Mini Cattle Pros our goal was to have a herd of Miniature Jerseys that were all 42" and under. We even have some as small as 34" tall. We realized that the perfect family milk cow would have to be both economical and functional. Economical because hay and feed prices are at a all time high. Functional as far as milk production enough for a family but not to much like a modern dairy cow. One of our most important goals was to have a miniature jersey cow that was very small in size but not take anything away from the dairy conformation or disposition. A dairy cow should have her udders sitting high off the ground and outstanding teat placement along with great udder traits. Here at Mini Cattle Pros we didn't want to sacrifice any of these goals when developing our herd.
